Trip Recap: Athens, Greece

I'm back!! I had the most fabulous time on my trip to Europe and I'm so excited to share it with you! I have so much to show and tell so I'm going to start with the couple days I spent in Greece.

My sister is studying abroad in Greece this semester, and since I have never been to Europe, I decided it was the perfect time to go! I met up with her in Porto Rafti, Greece, which is about 30 minutes from Athens. This is where she is staying for the semester, at the Harding University Artemis Hotel. Harding is also my alma mater!
I stayed at the Artemis for 2 nights. The first morning I woke up to this beautiful view outside my window:
While my sister, Rachel, was in class, I walked down to the beach and was in awe of how beautiful the view was! (Can you say Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants??)
Here's a silly selfie...
When Rachel got out of class, we took the metro into Athens and went to the Plaka, which is one of the main shopping areas in Athens. You can see the Acropolis up there at the top of the picture!
After doing some shopping, we started walked up towards the Acropolis and got an amazing picture of the entire city. How gorgeous is this!
A little closer view of the Acropolis
Some really cool grafitti we saw
And here's me and Rachel!

Hope you enjoyed these pics from Greece! Tomorrow I'll be posting about my 6 days in Italy, so stay tuned!
