Day to Night: Plum Coated Jeans

I recently bought these jeans at JC Penney on sale for $14! These coated denim jeans are perfect for someone who is faux-leather phobic like me. I love the trend, but doubt I could pull it off. For $14, these were the perfect way for me to fake the trend. (And can I tell you how much I have been loving JC Penney lately? So many good buys...)

For daytime, I wore these jeans with a polka-dotted chambray shirt for casual Friday. I paired this look with my Wanted glitter booties because every outfit needs a little sparkle!

For night, I traded my chambray top for this cobalt peplum one. I loved the unexpected combination of cobalt with the plum jeans. I also exchanged my mint bracelets for a cobalt one.

I can't believe I have had this blazer in my closet for almost a year, and this is only the second time I've worn it! I am in love with my Leila booties from Shoemint which further dressed up my look.

To top off both outfits, I wore this mint floral statement necklace. This was another F21 find that reminded me of a J. Crew necklace I passed up several months ago due to the steep price tag. This one was only $8.80!
