NYFW S/S 14 Favorites

The 2014 Spring New York Fashion Week was the first I have ever followed closely. I absolutely loved catching up on the collections on Women's Wear Daily, and I even managed to catch some of the shows live online! I compiled some of my favorite looks here.

I love all white looks, especially when composed of separates. These from Koonhor, Ruffian, and Tory Burch didn't disappoint.

Continuing with the white theme, white outerwear was prevalent on the runway. How fabulous is this white trench from Desigual? I also love the cutouts on this Elie Tahari jacket, and the windowpane print of this one from Sally LaPointe.

I fell in love with the concept of a printed trench coat after seeing these by DVF, Nicole Miller, and Desigual.

I mix prints frequently in my own outfits, so I was very happy to see this trend on the runway. This Nicole Miller dress may have been my absolute FAVORITE of fashion week. I also loved these looks from Peter Som and Christian Siriano.

I love the idea of a shorts suit, and these from Christian Siriano, Marissa Webb, and Alice & Olivia are to die for!

Now, on to the dresses. My favorite knee length dresses were these from Carmen Marc Valvo, Dennis Basso, and Pamella Rolland.

As for the gowns, what I wouldn't give to wear one of these beauties! These are by [top row] Carmen Marc Valvo, Zac Posen, Tadashi Shoji, [bottom row] Tadashi Shoji, Badgley Mischka, and Naeem Khan.

Did you follow New York Fashion week? Do you have a favorite designer/collection/look? Let me know in the comments!
