It's finally time to wear white since Memorial Day has come and gone! But let's be real- I've been wearing white year-round. I think most fashion rules are meant to be broken, especially ones about which colors you are allowed to wear at different times of the year. There is something especially nice about wearing an all white look in the summertime, though!

I think all white looks need a pop of color, and I loved carrying my new mint Celine-esque bag I got from Jane with this one. This bag is going to be really fun for summer, and it was under $25! Work Wear: Printed Pencil

I wear the button-up/pencil skirt combo to work a lot, but it's always more fun to wear something other than a solid skirt. I managed to pick this one up in the store for only $25! I love the fun print, and that it has blush pink in it so I can wear it with my favorite button-up blouse.

New Boyfriends

Boyfriend jeans have been on the top of my wishlist as of late, and I finally found the perfect ones... at Forever 21 of all places! I happened across this pair while browsing in the store recently, and was so glad they actually fit the way I wanted them too. It's funny how boyfriend jeans are supposed to be a casual, easy to wear style, and yet it took quite a while for me to find some that actually looked good on me. I wanted to try pairing them with a t-shirt, but I'm excited to try dressing them up! They are a  nice change from skinny jeans and will be much easier to wear during the hot months.

Purple Flowers

I love a good maxi dress for spring and summer, and I really liked the purple floral print of this one. I was also intrigued by the slit since I don't have any maxis that have one. I've seen quite a few skirts and dresses lately with thigh high slits that are too much for me, but since this one hits right above my knee, it's perfect. It makes the dress extra breezy so I can keep wearing it even when it's hot out.

Spring Wedding Attire

This was my Easter dress, but I decided to wear it again for a friend's wedding last weekend. I love the idea of wearing something bright and fun for a spring wedding, especially if it's a daytime event. I was happy my fuschia clutch picked up on some of the pink in my dress, and nude sandals rounded out my outfit nicely. I honestly have no idea how I didn't have any nude shoes in my closet until now! I'm looking for nude pumps next.
