Work Wear: All Blue

Happy 4th! I will be spending my day at the pool and grilling out! Let's just pretend my lipstick is red here, that way this post will fit the theme of the day :) This blue monochrome look is one of my favorites! I absolutely love the print on these pants, and how perfect that I had a cobalt top that matched the color exactly. A good rule of thumb if the monochrome trend scares you is to make sure one of your pieces has a print to it. Here, the white floral print on my pants breaks up the color a bit so I don't look like Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

    This is one of my favorite outfits since I've been following you - you look great! Have a wonderful Fourth of July - I wish we celebrated here, I miss hot dogs and the beach so much! Sadly, our national holiday isn't until October 3rd.
