Candy Colored

Coat- c/o Sheinside (on sale), Tee- Hanes men's tee , Jeans- c/o Aeropostale, Boots- Wanted (similar), Earrings- Jeweliq (identical), Bag- Kate Spade

What do you wear when the weather insists on being cold well into March when you are absolutely sick of your winter wardrobe? Wear a candy colored coat of course! I was actually excited for cold weather yesterday since it meant I could break out this blue beauty from Sheinside. I loved the way this shade of blue paired with my new blush Kate Spade, and was inspired to paint my nails the same pink shade.

This is my second piece of outerwear from Sheinside, and I have to say, I'm impressed with the quality you get for the price. Their coats are affordable enough that you can pick one up in a fun shade for the transition into spring. Just remember to size up! I'm wearing a medium and the fit is pretty snug.

C'est La Vie

Blazer- Zara (similar), Tee- J.Crew, Jeans- c/o Aeropostale, Heels- Zara, Necklace- Jewelmint (similar)
Bag- Michael Kors, Watch- Fossil, Bracelet- Glam Grab (similar)

I love Zara heels. I have quite a few pairs, and they are by far the most comfortable heels I own. Most of the ones I own are from the Trafaluc line (since they are a lot cheaper, duh!). I don't have any red shoes, so I decided to snatch up this pair to create some of the outfits I've been dreaming up. I wore this out to a concert with the bf and his friends last Friday. It's been a while since I've seen live music and it was tons of fun. I'll admit though- while these shoes were perfectly comfortable to walk around in, standing up for 2 hours was not a good idea. I'll know better next time.

I debating getting this blazer tailored since its several sizes too big, but after trying it on a few more times, I decided it was actually the perfect "boyfriend" fit. Of course its not something I'd wear to work, but I liked it over a t-shirt for a casual night out look. I'm really digging the powder blue and red combo (inspired by this)!

Fur Layer

Coat- H&M (similar), Vest- Sears, Top- Zara, Jeans- c/o Aeropostale, Boots- Zara, Bag- Coach, Necklace- Lulu's (similar here, here), Watch- Fossil

I've always loved the idea of layering with fur, but wasn't quite sure how to pull it off. It seems almost inevitable that it would look bulky. I think the secret is to wear your fur vest under a longer coat that already fits close to the body. This pink coat paired perfectly with my vest, which is great because I'm trying to wear it as often as I can before I have to pack it away until next winter!

So... I have to mention the elephant in the room- my new Coach bag! If you saw my February haul, you know I recently purchased a new Kate Spade bag, but when this one went on sale I decided it would be a nice to have for days when I want to carry something smaller. I'd been saving up a Nordstrom gift card I won a few month's ago, and this was a great piece to spend it on. Unfortunately it sold out pretty quickly after it was marked down, but I was able to find it on another website (linked above).

Blue Leather

Tee- Target, Jacket- c/o Aeropostale (similar linked below), Skirt- Zara (similar here, here), Boots- Dolce Vita
Watch- Fossil, Necklace- Forever 21, Bag- Michael Kors, Sunglasses- similar

I am a Pinterest addict. I subscribe to four fashion magazines (People StyleWatch, Glamour, InStyle and Lucky). I read tons of fashion blogs daily. What I'm trying to say is that I have tons and tons and tons of outfit ideas on my Pinterest board and saved to my phone, but I hardly ever go back and look at them for inspiration. I'm trying to get better about it so that the hours a week spent pinning outfits doesn't go to waste.

I saw a look on Jamie Chung in the March issue of People StyleWatch and immediately knew I had to recreate it. I've worn this Aeropostale leather jacket over a tee with jeans a few times, but I loved the idea of it with a navy floral skirt. Thankfully, I already own one (though I did search online for the exact skirt Jamie wore- it was so cute!).

Unfortunately my jacket is sold out online, but run to your Aero store to see if it's still in stock! It was really affordable (under $30) and is such a fun spring alternative to a black leather jacket. If you can't find it, I found similar hued options here and here.

Pink Leopard

Jacket- Forever 21 (similar), Top- Old Navy, Jeans- American Eagle, Heels- Michael Antonio, Scarf- c/o Aeropostale
Bag- Michael Kors, Sunglasses- similar, Watch- Fossil, Bracelet- similar

I've been really excited to feature some of the new items I got from Aeropostale for spring, and this pink leopard scarf is the first of two. I saw a look on Peony Lim recently that inspired this pairing, switching out her blues for pinks and her blazer for a denim jacket. I'm not really into the whole "light spring scarf" thing since I find it to be too hot for my liking. I loved the way she just let her scarf drape, and it was actually a lot comfortable this way than trying to wear it around my neck. I really loved the mix of different shades of pink, and I thought white nails were a nice pop!
