I'm a Copycat

My favorite thing about following style blogs is that they are an endless source of inspiration for remixing my closet. I love it when I see another bloggers outfit and think, "I have all the pieces to recreate that!" I use Pinterest to keep track of all the looks I love and looks I plan to copy, that way, when I can't figure out what to wear, I have a one stop shop to get an idea for a quick and easy outfit! Olive Juice (100th Post!)

Dress- H&M, Flats- Target, Watch- Fossil, Jewelry- Primark

When you were a kid, did you ever mouth the words "olive juice" to someone, hoping they mistook is for "I love you?" Well, I'd like to mouth those words to this dress, which clearly I love, or else I would not blog about it! I don't care how far we get into spring, and I don't really know if leather details are still in style, but I love the touch of it on the shoulders of this dress. I slapped on my leopard heels because I thought they went to nicely with the olive shade. And voila! Perfect shopping/churching/lunching/errand running outfit.

Work Wear: Pink and Red

I really love the combo of light pink and red. In the same color family, but just enough contrast to not look crazy! I am also really loving cropped dress pants for work. I really like the to-the-ankle length on these red ones. This necklace from Luxe Craving is so gorgeous! Definitely one of my favorite spring jewelry purchases. I'd love to get it in other colors. And I truly believe that almost any outfit is made complete with a little pop of leopard! And by the way, I got my inspiration for this outfit from Krystin of Suburban Faux Pas! See how she wore it here.

Floral Blazer

A floral blazer was number one on my spring wishlist, and this one from LC Lauren Conrad was the perfect fit. Originally $70, I got it for $25 with shipping. Talk about a score! I am really looking forward to attempting some print mixing with it, maybe with a striped top underneath. Stay tuned for that if I manage to pull it off! ;)

Funny story about these pictures. A woman saw Mallory and I taking outfit pictures one day and recommended this location to us. As soon as we saw it we were like, "YES. This is perfect." Nice little pond, some flowers, and some shiny office building windows. Well, a man in a golf cart chased us down (okay...maybe not chased, but that makes it sound more dramatic) and told us we were not allowed to shoot there! Big bummer, but thank goodness we had gotten enough shots already. We snuck the last few as the security guard drove away... :)
