Double Windowpane

Dress (worn as top)- Forever 21 (similar top), Skirt- Forever 21, Jacket- H&M (similar), Heels- Express, Earrings- Forever 21 (similar)

I became slightly obsessed with windowpane print last fall (exhibits A, BC, and D) and I'm still in love! What better way to celebrate my love for this print than by wearing two versions of it. I haven't mixed prints in a while, but this match seemed too perfect not to try. Even though the prints are identical, the fact that one is in a much larger scale makes it work. It's still not quite cold in Texas, so I threw on my little leather jacket on top only to realize I totally didn't need it. I'm told we are getting a cold front tonight...and I hope we do. I have been buying too many sweaters and coats and I'm desperate to wear them!

Day to Night: Black Boots

Sweater- Marshalls (love this), Jeans- H&M (similar on sale! ), Boots- Shoedazzle, Bag- Phillip Lim for Target, Necklace- Just Svara, Sunglasses- similar

Chambray- Kohl's (on sale $18! ), Dress (worn as skirt)- Forever 21, Necklace- similar

I've seen the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots in just about every magazine I've read lately, so when I saw these boots in a similar style on Shoedazzle, I decided to retire my 2 year old black boots for this pair. I got them for $24.95 since it was my first order on the site. Such a great price, and the quality doesn't disappoint.

Since my journey through shopaholic recovery, I'm trying to be better about buying pieces that are versatile. Of course flat knee-high boots can be styled tons of ways for casual daytime looks, so I set out to prove that they could work for a nighttime look too. Now, when I say "nighttime," I'm not talking clubwear, but for dinner out on the weekend, this look is perfect. The boots make the shorter hemline of my skirt a little more tasteful, and help to keep my legs warm (well, once it gets cold here they will).

For another versatility challenge, I am determined to style my windowpane print dress in at least 4 ways. I especially love it as a skirt!

Work Wear: Windowpane

Shirt- Target, Pants- Target, Heels- Target, Necklace- Express, Watch- Fossil

Do you ever put together an outfit and realize every piece of it is from the same store? I did that here- my shirt, pants and heels are all from Target! Clearly that shows what great pieces Target has come out with lately, especially these pants! I saw them in the Target x Blair Eadie fall lookbook and fell in love. As soon as I saw them in the store, I snatched them up! I am so in love in windowpane print for fall, and have no shame buying every article of clothing I can find in this print. Hey, it makes sense, because the print is sticking around for spring (at least according to the runways at fashion week).
