I want to start by giving credit where credit is due, and let you know that this outfit was completely inspired by Liz of Sequins and Stripes. I loved this outfit on her and figured it was the perfect way to style my new green floral skirt. I want to try styling my white button up in different ways since it really is such a classic wardrobe staple. I usually only bring mine out when I want a white collar to peek out of a sweater, but I need to wear it on its own more often.

It's been about a year and I still haven't gotten over my grid print obsession. This skirt is one of those Forever 21 finds you dream of making while browsing the store (well, I do at least. I'm not ashamed of my Forever 21 obsession when I can find pieces like this!). Unfortunately I could never find it online, which bummed me out because I wanted all of you to be able to get it too! It's made of a nice knit sweater material which makes it very comfortable. I'm not sure it's meant to be reversible, but the inside is white with black grid lines and looks incredibly cute as well. I'm going to have to cut the tag out and rock it that way soon!

If there is one print that screams holiday, it's plaid. I have several plaid shirts, a plaid scarf, and a plaid coat in my wardrobe, but this skirt was just screaming to come home with me. It's long enough to wear to work, and cute enough for holiday parties. I wore it pretty casual here, but it could easily be dressed up with heels and a nice top. I see myself getting a lot of use out of this skirt over the next month!

Double Windowpane

I became slightly obsessed with windowpane print last fall (exhibits A, B, C, and D) and I'm still in love! What better way to celebrate my love for this print than by wearing two versions of it. I haven't mixed prints in a while, but this match seemed too perfect not to try. Even though the prints are identical, the fact that one is in a much larger scale makes it work. It's still not quite cold in Texas, so I threw on my little leather jacket on top only to realize I totally didn't need it. I'm told we are getting a cold front tonight...and I hope we do. I have been buying too many sweaters and coats and I'm desperate to wear them!

I've been living in this skirt for work and church lately...much like all my other white articles of clothing. Thankfully, this skirt is not see-through like my white dress from Tuesday's post! I've liked pairing it with darker colors up top, but this cream lace top was just screaming for me to create an all neutral outfit. I almost traded my nude bag for a blue one, but I decided this look didn't need a pop of color. Sometimes (though for me, very rarely) less color is more!
