Work Wear: Floral Pants

I am ready so for spring! I spotted these pants on the Forever 21 site a few weeks back and posted about them here. When I saw them in the store over the weekend I couldn't say no! These could not be more perfect- cobalt and floral! They come in red as well, and also this dress is in the same print.

February's Top Three

I'm linking up with Amy for February's Top Three looks! Two of the three looks included my faux leather leggings which I finally decided I was bold enough to wear. My hair is curled in each picture since this was my favorite way to wear it this month. It is getting sooooo long- which for me means unmanageable! I desparately need a trim, but since I have ombre hair, I don't want to trim off the lighter color (#whitegirlproblems).

What do you think? Should I trim and get ombre color again? Or stick with my natural color?

Mixed Prints

I fell in love this this dress as soon as I saw in on Dorothy Perkins website and I'll admit, I broke my shopping ban with this impulse buy. I couldn't pass it up! I've been browsing their site a lot in preparation of going to their actual store in London in a few weeks! I love the mix of the black and white print in the center of the dress with the floral print on the sides.

Prabal Gurung Look 2

I wanted to say a quick thank you to all my readers- I reached 10,000 page views yesterday! I am having so much fun with this little blog and have big dreams for it. Thanks to all who have supported me by following, commenting, and promoting me!

Now, on to my outfit! This Prabal Gurung top is going to be so versatile for my spring wardrobe. I am imagining it belted with skinnies, tucked in to a skirt, or even under a blazer for work. I love the bright floral print and the mesh on the shoulders. Here I paired it with my faux leather leggings for a night out.

Essentials: Backpacking in Style

I will be backpacking through Europe this time next month, so I have done quite a bit of research on how to pack in just one bag. I like to say I am "backpacking in style," so I've tried to choose travel accessories which have a cute factor to them, while also being useful. Here are some of my essentials:

Backpack $79.97 - Be sure to choose one that is comfortable and isn't going to be too heavy. This one is fairly small but my 5'3" frame can't handle anything bigger.

Passport Cover $15.00 - Protect your important document with a cute passport cover!

Water Bottle $15.00 - You'll need to stay hydrated while site-seeing.

Travel Umbrella $14.99 - In case of rain, keep this slim umbrella handy.

Foldable Toiletry Bag $29.99 - This bag is has lot of compartments to keep your toiletries organized.

Makeup Bag $9.99 - I love this makeup bag because it has two separate zippered compartments for easy organization.

Laundry Bag $4.99 - To keep your dirty clothes separate from everything else in your bag.

Rain Jacket $65.00 - Choose one that you can fold up in your bag when you don't need it, but make sure it has a hood.

Neon and Stripes

This outfit combines two things I love, stripes and pops of neon. I like how the neon in the shirt neckline, belt, and earrings bring some interest into an otherwise neutral outfit.

Prabal Gurung Look 1

I enjoyed so many of the pieces from the Prabal Gurung for Target Collection that was recently released, but I only picked up two pieces. First was this black dress in First Date Print. I love the a-line shape of it! It is very flattering on, as the band around middle makes you look smallest around your waist. Its fun to twirl in too! Good news- the dress is still available online!
