I wore this outfit to dinner with my BFF Katie the other day. We tried out Jersey Mike's Subs for the first time. The guy making our sandwiches thought we were sisters. People ask us this pretty frequently, though we really can't figure out why, except that we both have brown hair and are short. The guy who rang us up said that I looked like skittles since I had on so many different colors. Katie was wearing a leopard print shirt, so he decided that she looked like a tiger... Now we know what guys really think of our style!

So maybe this outfit looks like a bag of skittles, but I don't care! I love this combo of blue and green shades, and thought yellow was the perfect accent color.

Yellow and Mint

A few weeks ago, I saw a girl in a yellow tee and mint jeans and I had an "I must recreate that" moment. So I paired this cute lace tee with my mint jeans and called it good! I must say I really like this color combo, but I never would have put this together had I not seen it on someone else first.

Scalloped Sunshine

Yellow is not a color I have worn much of in the past, but I have been loving it for spring! I have picked up several yellow items lately, including 2 yellow tops, 2 yellow dresses, and a yellow purse. I'm also in the market for a yellow statement necklace but haven't found the perfect one yet. I got this top in the clearance rack at Ann Taylor. I love it, but when I got home I realized it was dry clean only. Hate it when that happens, but I still love it!
