Ummm, hi July. You sure got here quickly. Time is literally flying by! There are so many more things I want to do this summer, so I better get going. I haven't even gotten my first sno cone yet! (Scratch that- this was accomplished yesterday afternoon! Pink lemonade sno cone...my favorite!)

This outfit is so perfect for summer. The bright colors, light fabrics, and neon accessories scream warm weather to me. I really love the print on this dress, so much that it was a total impulse buy from Forever 21. When I saw the same dress on Jen, I decided to tweak the way she styled it by using brights instead of pastels, but I couldn't help layering my gingham shirt on top! This was my first attempt at tying a button up shirt around my waist, and I really liked how it looked.

Skittles

I wore this outfit to dinner with my BFF Katie the other day. We tried out Jersey Mike's Subs for the first time. The guy making our sandwiches thought we were sisters. People ask us this pretty frequently, though we really can't figure out why, except that we both have brown hair and are short. The guy who rang us up said that I looked like skittles since I had on so many different colors. Katie was wearing a leopard print shirt, so he decided that she looked like a tiger... Now we know what guys really think of our style!

So maybe this outfit looks like a bag of skittles, but I don't care! I love this combo of blue and green shades, and thought yellow was the perfect accent color.
