Easy Layers

Layering is one of my favorite things about fall and winter. Unfortunately for me, the weather in Texas usually doesn't allow for cozy, bundled up layers. So I improvise. Using a button-up shirt as my top layer allows me to have some layering fun while remaining weather appropriate. This shirt is a really great top layer, and its so soft. Don't you just love those shirts that look worn in and faded? It's like having your dad's old work shirt or something, just without the history behind it. This one comes in several colors, but I liked the olive the best.

Oh, and by the way, this is another pair of my new favorite Aeropostale jeggings that I raved about last week. :)

Chambray Layers

I love the idea of using a Chambray shirt in the place of a cardigan or jacket. Its easy to layer over virtually any outfit. I am really happy with the way it looks with my olive jeggings (these things are super comfy- they have an elastic waistband!). The pop of red from my bag and necklace bring in some color into an otherwise neutral outfit.
