Dress- Loft (similar on sale!), Blazer- Primark (similar), Pumps- Forever 21, Necklace- BaubleBar (similar), Belt- Asos, Watch- Fossil
I like to wear more color in the warmer months, but this black sheath dress is my favorite and I was determined to style it for summer. The best way to brighten up black is to add color to it! (kind of a no-brainer...) I chose to add my mint blazer on top to make my black dress more summer appropriate. The leopard pumps also add a fun touch. These heels are seriously so comfy! Another great Forever 21 find, of course. I added another pop of color with the lavender belt to mimic the purple color in my necklace.
Another idea to spice up a black sheath dress for summer? Add a bright button up underneath, and coordinating belt on top! I'm dying to try this with my teal gingham shirt.

DeleteThis is so pretty, I really love how you added the pastel colors to compliment the dress. It still looks very work appropriate, but completely fashionable. I am completely lacking in the colored blazer department, and now I know to add mint to the list!
