If you don't have a pair of white shorts in your wardrobe, you need to get some. Talk about a versatile piece for summer. The equivalent of the white jean in spring, you can pair literally anything with your white shorts. My pair is a classic linen short that are thin and breathable for those hot days. Summer Lookbook: Printed Shorts

I have been seeing so many varieties of printed shorts lately. They are really fun for summer to bring a little more interest to your outfit than the ol' denim short. I found this pair at TJ Maxx for under $20. I love that they are close to a denim blue shade, so I knew I could wear them with just about anything. I also love that they have a little bit of a longer inseam than a lot of the daisy duke-esque shorts I've been seeing in stores.
